Verotusarvojen laskennassa noudatetaan samoja periaatteita kuin uuden auton verotusarvon laskennassa, mutta auton verotusarvoon tehdään auton iästä riippuva 2–15 prosentin epävarmuusvähennys, joka kuvaa käytetyn auton arvonmäärityksen epävarmuustekijöitä
